Small Studios is a multidisciplinary design firm crafting apparel, film, and creative direction. We see design as a living archive , a way of documenting what has been while imagining what is still to come. Our work draws from culture, community, and spirit, creating narratives that move beyond objects and into worlds.

Each chapter begins with a question: What does it mean to create with intention?

For us, the answer is found in the tension between vision and memory, utility and beauty, the modern world and the one still being written. Small Studios is less a company than a collective manuscript, each project another page in an ongoing book.

Small Studios is led by Steph Small, a designer and artistic director whose work moves between fashion, film, and storytelling. Rooted in Caribbean heritage and shaped by over a decade of experience in design, Steph approaches each project as both artifact and narrative, building spaces where imagination becomes form.
